Hallo Wine Party

October 24, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Western Illinois Museum is planning some scary fun! The Hallo Wine party promises an evening of music, historical ghosts, and wine, and will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  This year’s Hallo Wine party celebrates the newly dedicated Women’s Memorial in Chandler Park, featuring women who worked in the early 1900s to improve life in the region.

Re-enactors will tell the stories of Caroline Grote, Josie Westfall, Dr. Elizabeth Miner, Dr. Ruth Tunnicliff, and Rose Jolly, who will haunt the museum’s hallways eager to once again tell their tales, encouraging and inspiring the next generation of social activists.

The musical program will feature actor and musician Adam Kozlowski, who with a powerful, expressive voice, brings well-known American Standards to life.

The Sports Corner will provide a cash bar complemented by a selection of fine cheeses. Suggested $5 donation at the door.
