The Biggest Little Farm

June 27, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - June 28, 2020 @ 7:00 pm

Film Series has moved online!

The Western Illinois Museum announces its film series has moved online starting with the screening of the film, The Biggest Little Farm on Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 pm. The film will be available for viewing at no cost for 24 hours from the safety and comfort of your home.  The film is 91 minutes and rated PG. An internet connection is needed to stream the film.

The Biggest Little Farm, a film by John Chester, chronicles the eight-year quest of John and his wife Molly as they trade city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest inharmony with nature. Featuring breathtaking cinematography, captivating animals, and an urgent message to heed Mother Nature’s call, The Biggest Little Farm provides us all a vital blueprint for better living and a healthier planet. There is a $5 suggested donation of $5 to defray the cost of the screening.

To get access to watch the film online, guests will need to reserve tickets. Tickets are available online here. A link to reserve a ticket can also be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages. There are two ticket options: a free ticket or one with a small donation to the museum to offset the cost of the program. After a ticket has been requested, an email with the link to watch the film will be sent to you.
