Western Illinois Museum welcomes visitors of all ages. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm or by appointment. There is no admission to visit the museum, donations are welcome. Suggested donation for adults is $5, and $2 for children, students and seniors.
The museum is located one block south of Macomb’s historic Courthouse Square. Make a visit to the museum on your next trip to the square or local restaurant.
The museum staff and docents run events and programs to accompany each exhibition. We welcomes visits from schools, and clubs. The museum staff works with each group’s interests to make the visit more meaningful and educational. To arrange a special tour for your group contact the museum at 309.837.2750 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Advanced notice is recommend for groups larger than 15.
There is free parking conveniently located behind the museum on Lafayette Street and to the west on Washington Street. The museum is fully handicap accessible.
