Since its founding in 1974, the Western Illinois Museum has passionately sought to collect the treasures that illustrate the region’s history and culture. Our collection is methodically being built with the belief that artifacts can be used to informs and inspire. Each exhibit and program conveys the story of our community and our goal is to ensure this passing on of knowledge and insight will continue for generations to come.
